Serving God Through Ministry
There are many ways to share your time and gifts with God and our parish community during Mass. Whether you enjoy proclaiming the Word, serving at the altar, singing, welcoming others, or helping distribute Holy Communion, there is a ministry where you can make a meaningful difference.
Our altar servers, lectors, musicians, ministers of hospitality, acolytes, and extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion each have an important role in our celebration of the Mass. Together, we help create a prayerful, joyful, and welcoming experience for everyone who comes through our doors.
Consider joining us in ministry. Your presence, your talents, and your willingness to serve can be a beautiful gift to our parish.

Acolyte Ministry
Looking for a meaningful way to get involved in the church. We invite you to become an acolyte. This vital ministry is open to men at least 21 years of age, fully initiated, and living an exemplary Christian way of life, with no impediments to sacramental reception, (e.g., if married, one must be in a valid union recognized by the Church). The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is awaiting guidance from the USCCB regarding the admittance of women to this ministry.

Altar Server
Are you looking for a meaningful way for your child to participate in the Mass? Our Altar Server Ministry is welcoming new members! Children who have received First Communion can join.

Adult and Youth Lector
Do you have a clear voice and a desire to serve? We need adults and youth to bring scripture to life. It’s a wonderful way to share your gift, build speaking confidence and lead our congregation to worship.
Youth – Starting at 8 years and have made first communion
