Baptism

• Member of Our Mother of Mercy and one godparent should be Catholic
• Parents and godparents must attend a baptismal class prior to baptism
• MUST PRESENT AN ORIGINAL COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE AT TIME OF APPLICATION
• Baptism Class: Every Second Saturday beginning at 9:30 am in the Sr. Bldg Conference Room. Contact the church office for the Next Class

RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children) Program

Children Catechumenate (ages 7 to 17)

• Parent(s) must be a member of Our Mother of Mercy
• Child/Youth must be enrolled and attend Sunday CCE classes on a weekly basis

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) & Adult Confirmation

age 17 to adulthood

• Member of Our Mother of Mercy; contact the front office for more information or see a deacon
• Must attend classes once a month on second Saturday and Sunday; morning scripture reading study sessions after the 8:30am worship
• Contact the Church Office for Next Inquiry class.

Marriage

• Member of Our Mother of Mercy
• Attend marriage preparation sessions with a sponsor couple
• Couple must see a priest or deacon six months prior to proposed date
